Carpinteria, California – Rincon Power announces the latest expansion of their HVBD manual battery disconnect switch product line with the introduction of a higher-rated variant that pushes the boundaries of power handling capabilities while maintaining the product line’s reputation for reliability and robust performance.
The new HVBD8 variant delivers an impressive 800A of continuous current carry and can handle up to 1500V, making it ideal for the most demanding high-voltage battery applications. This significant advancement in power handling capability comes in the same compact and reliable package that customers have come to expect from the HVBD series.
In response to customer feedback, Rincon Power has also expanded the customization options by introducing a new orange handle color option alongside the existing red and black variants. This additional color choice provides greater flexibility for system integration and safety coding requirements.
All HVBD models, including this new high-power variant, can be equipped with an optional auxiliary feedback circuit featuring an electrically isolated single-pole, double-throw switch, enhancing system monitoring and control capabilities.
