Every once in a while, a build comes along that’s more than just parts and paint. It carries a story. That’s exactly what you’re looking at with David Pavich’s 1972 Chevy C10, better known as “Dimebagged.” What started as a classified ad search quickly turned into the project truck David knew he had to have. After finding the perfect two-tone C10 in Alpharetta, Georgia, the real journey began. Like many builds, the road wasn’t perfectly smooth at first—but once Mikey Rolleri and the crew at Salvage to Savage got involved, the vision finally started coming together. Under the hood, this classic Chevy packs modern muscle with a 2024 Chevrolet Performance LS3, boosted by a Whipple 3.0-liter supercharger and managed by a Holley EFI system. Power runs through a 6L90E transmission with a Circle D converter, while a full GSI Machine and Fab chassis with Air Lift suspension and a custom 4-link setup gives the truck that perfect laid-out stance. Rolling on 22-inch Vossen forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport S tires, and backed by massive Wilwood 14-inch brakes, Dimebagged brings modern performance to classic C10 styling. Inside, the truck is just as dialed in. A custom leather-wrapped dash houses a Holley 12.6-inch Pro Dash digital display, while a full JL Audio sound system, Restomod Air climate control, and handcrafted interior details from Salvage to Savage make this truck just as comfortable as it is powerful. But for David, this build isn’t just about horsepower or show trophies. Dimebagged is a legacy truck, built to cruise, built to show, and built to pass down to the next generation of Pavich truck fans. This is what happens when classic style meets modern performance—and a builder refuses to cut corners.
