Prescott, Ariz. (June 18, 2025) – Centerforce, a leading manufacturer of performance clutches and flywheels for classic and late-model cars and trucks for over 40 years, has released its Solid Street Twin (SST) clutch kit for 1963-95 Ford Mustang applications. The new SST kit is engineered for vehicles producing up to 925 ft-lbs of torque and is an economical option for street car enthusiasts looking for a complete, high-quality twin-disc clutch system.

Centerforce’s popular SST kit maintains daily driver usability while maximizing performance. The 10.4-inch twin-disc design utilizes solid hubs to reduce rotational weight on the output shaft for quick, clean shifts. It is built using high-quality organic friction materials for smooth engagement and longevity. The kit also features a lightened billet steel flywheel, offering lower inertia and quicker RPMs.

The new Centerforce SST kit (Part# 412115757) includes a billet steel flywheel, ARP pressure plate, flywheel hardware and pilot bearing alignment tool. It fits a wide variety of Ford Mustang models, including 1965-68 Mustangs with 260, 298 and 302 cubic-inch engines and V8 Mustang models through 1995. Additional Ford fitments include 1963-64 Fairlane, 1964-67 Falcon, 1967-71 Galaxie, 1975-79 Granada, 1973-77 Maverick, 1970-73 Ranchero and 1969-73 Torino models.
